When women were surveyed, “Do you take a daily multivitamin?” Most answered, “No, but I should. My doctor told me I should.” Why don’t you?' "The pills are too big or I forget."

PrevRx® Women's Multi+ takes this into consideration by providing you a simple once daily dosing in an easy to swallow vegetarian capsule. Not only are capsules easier to swallow, they break down easier in the body allowing for better absorption. This is why tablets often have mega doses to compensate for a cheaper delivery system.

Folic Acid (800 mcg) – Everyone needs folic acid to help make new cells but, there is good evidence to support supplementation of Folic Acid before, during and post pregnancy to prevent major birth defects.

Vitamin D3 (400iu) – Women's Multi+ uses D3, the most clinically studied and preferred form. There is good evidence supporting the use of Vitamin D supplementation for general health, certain cancers and heart disease. It is important for normal, healthy cell growth and function, insulin secretion, immune function, calcium and phosphorus absorption and much more.

Recent research has validated the benefits of higher Vitamin D intake for those with osteoporosis or vitamin D deficiency. Read more on Vitamin D.

What Makes Women's Multi+ different from other multivitamins?

The major difference in PrevRx® Women's Multi+ is that it comes in a capsule instead of the more common compressed tablet.  This allows for purer ingredients, easier swallowing, better breakdown and absorption.

Who can benefit from taking Women's Multi+?

If you don’t eat enough healthy foods in a wide variety such as cold water fish, lean meats, fruits, vegetables, whole grains then you could be nutrient deficient and may benefit from taking Women's Multi+.

Others that may need supplementation include:

  • Those who generally don’t eat well or less than 1,600 calories daily
  • Vegetarians, vegans, certain dieters
  • Those that are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breast-feeding
  • Post-menopausal women
  • Anyone with a chronic medical condition such as chronic diarrhea, food allergies or anything that affects how you body absorbs or excretes nutrients.

How much should I take?

The recommended daily dose for Women's Multi+ is one capsule daily.
How much is too much?

Based on the purity and potency of PrevRx® ingredients, we do not suggest taking more than the suggested dose of Women's Multi+.  However, if you have additional needs for specific nutrients such as vitamin D, you can do so per your physicians’ guidance or per the guidance found on the Vitamin D page.

Can I take Women's Multi+ with other vitamins/supplements?

Yes.  Women's Multi+ is a stand alone supplement however, based on your individual needs, Women's Multi+ can be complemented with any of our other PrevRx® products.  Please see our complete health packages for more information.
